Absentee Voting

Absentee In-Person: 

  • 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, September 23 through  November 2, 2024

  • The County Circuit Clerk’s Office will be open for in-person absentee voting from 8:00 a.m. to noon on October 26, 2024, and November 2, 2024.  

  • The deadline to vote in -person absentee will be November 2, 2024.

         Who can vote ABSENTEE In-Person:  

  1. Any qualified elector who will be away from their county of residence or will be required to work during polling times on election day 

  2. Temporary or permanent disabled and/or their parent, spouse, or dependent who is hospitalized outside of county or home is greater than 50 miles 

  3. 65 years or older


Mail-in Absentee:

  • Request application from Circuit Clerk’s Office

  • Receive and complete the application, have notarized, and send back to the Circuit Clerk

  • The Circuit Clerk sends the absentee ballot within one business day

  • In front of a witness, secretly mark ballot, place in envelope provided, have envelope notarized, and return to the Circuit Court’s Office

  • Must be postmarked on or before November 5, 2024


  Who can vote Mail-in ABSENTEE:  

  1. Anyone residing temporarily outside of county; must be mailed to an address outside of the county.

  2. Temporary or permanent disabled and/or their parent, spouse, or dependent who is hospitalized outside of county or home is greater than 50 miles 

  3. 65 years or older

  4. Incarcerated who is not convicted of a disenfranchising crime
